At ReMode we aim to raise awareness of the environmental impacts of the fashion and textiles industry, and to work with our communities in Renfrewshire to deliver practical solutions and share positive steps to reduce these impacts.
We care about the environment and know our communities do too.
These 3 short films are examples of projects we have completed and people we have worked with over the last couple of years.
What We Do
- We run a programme of creative hands-on workshops – all designed to teach practical skills that extend the life of garments and fabrics.
- We sell our ReMode Collection and Make Pack ranges in our online shop.
- We run an extensive education and events programme – working within community and education settings to raise awareness of climate change issues relating to the fashion industry. If you’d like us to visit your school and talk to your pupils, run a workshop or event for you just get in touch!
- We run a broad volunteer programme – open to people of all ages and experience. For more details contact firstname.lastname@example.org
ReMode Renfrewshire is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company. We are managed by a voluntary board of directors who employ our 4 part-time members of staff. ReMode started life as the Youth Engagement Programme of charity Local Energy Action Plan and evolved to become an independent organisation in November 2017.
ReMode relies on the generosity of grant funders to enable our work to continue. To date we have been supported by the following:
