At the end of 2018, film maker Kevin Cameron and ReMode’s Gillian Steel worked with P7 pupils from Heriot Primary in Paisley to create a short film animation of a speech by Greta Thunberg. The children listened carefully to the words in the speech and came up with all sorts of creative ideas of what images could feature in the film.
Through this process they had lots of discussions about climate change issues, and learned all about stop motion animation techiques.
The film was featured in our fashion show – Vox 2019 – and has since been shown at several ReMode events.
The film has been shortlisted for Best Animation by under 12s at the Scottish Youth Film Festival
🎬🎥🎞 Congrats to all the P7 pupils and to Kevin and Gillian!
