WORKSHOP: Zine Making Thursdays @6pm – 8pm, 10th October – 28th November 2024

£0.00

Zine making workshops will allow the participant to be part of a published Zine – Clout! Issue 9. You will learn zine paper folding methods and book binding through to how to collate and publish a zine. The Zine will reflect on paisley’s heritage but also show paisley’s present through documenting your own experience in paisley through creative methods, drawings, sewing, photography, poetry.

Clout! issue 9 will relate to ReMode’s programme for 2024-25 “Through the Mill – Stories of Resilience and Renewal” and respond to themes of Paisley’s textile heritage, resilience and renewal, textiles industries in Scotland, making and mending, traditional skills, how people have related to garments through time, sustainability and textile production and other aspects that participants choose to bring to the project.
