Make & Mend: Printing patches
Wednesday 11th September, 4pm – 6pm
Join us to Make & Mend with a printed patches special. A fun opportunity to try your hand at textile printing and making patches reusing off-cuts and waste textiles to make and take away a printed patch for an existing garment. Design your own motif and experiment with block and stencil printing. All printing bits and bobs, sewing machines and guidance will be provided.
This workshop is suitable for a beginner with no experience, and will teach basic printing skills. A relaxed and informal session, we have space for x8 free participants each week between the ages of 11-25 years old. Over 25 and looking to get involved? Join in as a volunteer to share your skills (even if it’s just tidying up!) sew along and make use of the workspace facilities by booking a volunteer place.
If you have a mending project in progress you are always welcome to bring it along to use the facilities and sew along with us, just book a place.
