Join us for a weekend of creativity; creating custom clothing, from vintage clothes and fabrics. An opportunity to slow down and get creative.
If you would like to learn some new skills in sewing, customisation and up cycling, we will cover a range of techniques over the weekend for you to create some new and unique pieces for your wardrobe. Express your individuality and redesign your wardrobe without the need to buy.
Why not join us in making your very own sustainable Halloween costume? Handmade, one of a kind and even better, not full of plastic!
Bring along some old clothes for swapping, repairing and repurposing. We will deconstruct, sew, patchwork, mend, appliqué and print.
Every year hundreds of thousands of clothes go to waste in the UK alone, and we want to empower a more creative solution and perspective.
No sewing experience is required; the weekend is open to beginners and all curious to learn more. This workshop is open to all those aged 13-25.
A range of materials, clothing and equipment will be provided.
Choose to sign up to the full weekend or either the Saturday or Sunday. Attending for the full weekend will allow you more opportunity to explore a wider range of techniques.
Snacks and drinks will be provided but please bring your own lunch.
Please note: Our ReMode studio is situated on the second floor and only accessible via stairs. If you have access requirements please leave a comment when booking your place and we can arrange for an alternative location. All sign-ups will be notified if there is a venue change.
