We had a busy three days for our June Make Week, focusing on Zero Waste.
Participants were shown how to create trousers, tops and bags using a piece of fabric in its entirety – absolutely no scraps of fabric left to go to waste.
Roughly 15% of fabric used by the fashion industry is wasted – increasing the negative environmental impact of the industry. Learning about and promoting zero waste garments is just one of the things we can do to address this waste.
