Bag making workshop

£0.00

Bag-Making Workshop Tuesday 30th September 6-8pm (6 week course)
Join us for a six-week course where you’ll make two bags, develop new sewing skills, and support a sustainable cause.

In the first three sessions, you’ll create a durable tree-planting bag for RenCan and Eadha’s tree-planting initiative, helping to prevent flooding. Made from upcycled materials such as old tents and vinyl banners, this bag combines creativity with environmental impact.

In the final three sessions, you’ll design and sew your own stylish bag using deadstock fabric generously donated by Halley Stevensons, Dundee’s renowned manufacturers of waxed cotton and waterproof fabrics.

This workshop is open to all ages and abilities. Beginners are very welcome — a short introductory tutorial is available to help you get started.

Venue: Room 3.08, Witherspoon Building, 10 Storie St, Paisley PA1 2AR
