Raincoat making workshop every Wednesday from 14th January – 11th February 6- 8.45pm (5 week course)

Join us for a 5-week hands-on workshop series where you’ll design and create your very own raincoat! This is a unique opportunity to learn practical sewing and garment-making skills while exploring your own creativity. The raincoat is a unisex design, but you’ll also have the chance to customise it, adding personal touches to make it truly your own.

We’ll be working with deadstock fabrics generously donated by Halley Stevensons, Dundee’s renowned manufacturers of waxed cotton and waterproof materials, giving you the chance to create a high-quality, sustainable garment while learning about upcycling and reducing textile waste.

We advise anyone attending to have a little bit of sewing experience, so you can get the most out of the workshops and enjoy making your raincoat from start to finish.
