MEDDLE & MAKE
A regular set of make, mend and upcycle workshops led by experienced designers and makers. Bring along a garment you would like to adjust to a new size, mend with some beautifying embroidery, adapt a hem or add a new zipper. Or maybe you have an ambitious make project you’d like some advice about?
Once we’ve helped you get started, feel free to come back and carry on your project at one of our drop in sessions!

Make Workshop: Fashion Jigsaws
Join us for this 2 session course in colourful and creative upcyling.
You will be shown how to design and make a one-of-a-kind garment using ‘jigsaw’ pieces taken from garments donated to ReMode. Select from reclaimed sleeves, collars, pockets, cuffs and front & back panels and combine them in your own unique design.
It’s free to take part. Once you’ve finished you can choose to either donate your garment to the ReMode shop for us to sell, or take it home for £20 (or use membership tokens as part-payment).

Make week: Bomber Jackets
In this 2 session course, you will work alongside our specialist designers to learn how to make an on-trend bomber jacket.
Using upcycled fabrics you’ll be shown how to work with a pattern to create and sew a lined and stylish jacket.
It’s free to take part. You can either choose to leave your creation with us to be sold in our shop, or take it away with you for £20. (or use membership tokens as part-payment)

RECYCLE OR DYE
Our regular make-session for young people. A chance to get creative and learn to make, amend or adapt your clothes. All materials and resources supplied, or bring along clothes you would like to work on. To register send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org

DROP IN SESSIONS
Bring along your own make project, meet up with friends and make use of our tools and facilities. We have sewing machines, an overlocker, large workbenches and a wealth of remoding bits and pieces including trims, zips and buttons. If you have a project you need help with, come along to one of our Meddle & Make sessions (see above)

UPCYCLE/RECYCLE VOLUNTEER GROUP
Our group of upcyclers meet every week to help out with all sorts of ReModing jobs. From sewing on buttons, to salvaging fabric ready for workshops, to hemming and mending clothes. They also share skills and get involved with our make projects.
Volunteers can earn tokens to be spent in our shops, and we always make sure there’s a plentiful supply of biscuits too!

Film making group
Our group of volunteer film makers will be meeting every week to learn and share skills in documentary filmmaking and stop motion animation. Films created will focus on themes related to sustainable fashion and climate change. Sessions led by filmmaker Kevin Cameron.
